Samantaz Fox | yeah, I've found the issue. I don't need it anymore | 13:24:29 |
TheFrenchGhosty | 👍️ | 13:24:34 |
Samantaz Fox | zehka I hope my explaination is clear enough ^^ | 13:25:34 |
TheFrenchGhosty | Samantaz Foxunixfox Just FYI, I contacted the Matrix support a while ago about gitterbot still being admin, so don't be surprised if the support join the room. | 13:45:18 |

TheFrenchGhosty | (This is the email thread) | 13:45:28 |
TheFrenchGhosty | (Also, FYI: admins not able to demote other admins is why most trusted people/Invidious team members are "moderators" and not admin) | 13:57:35 |
TheFrenchGhosty | (I'll look into enhancing that soon) | 13:58:23 |

wanion20 | Hi I am trying to setup invidious using Docker on my Raspberry pi 4 (8GB) I cloned this repository https://github.com/iv-org/invidious removed the docker-compose.yml file created a new docker-compose.yml file using the Docker-compose file given here https://docs.invidious.io/Installation.md
Did
docker-compose up
| 14:06:07 |
wanion20 | Download image.png | 14:06:28 |
wanion20 | I got this error | 14:06:31 |
wanion20 | Changed the image to "latest-arm64" | 14:06:47 |
TheFrenchGhosty | FYI: You don't need to clone the repo if you use the compose provided in the installation document | 14:07:01 |
wanion20 | In reply to @thefrenchghosty:pussthecat.org FYI: You don't need to clone the repo if you use the compose provided in the installation document It was making reference to few files in postgresql
- ./config/sql:/config/sql
- ./docker/init-invidious-db.sh:/docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/init-invidious-db.sh
So I thought may be I should clone it first

TheFrenchGhosty | In reply to @wanion20:matrix.org sent an image. From what I'm guessing, something went wrong during the database creation, can you try to delete the volume used by postgres? | 14:09:22 |
wanion20 | No worries. I have spent last 45 mins scratching my head.. So I have done few basic trouble shooting. One of them involved adding "latest-arm64" tag to the invidious image
and another being clone of repo | 14:09:27 |
wanion20 | In reply to @thefrenchghosty:pussthecat.org From what I'm guessing, something went wrong during the database creation, can you try to delete the volume used by postgres? $ docker volume rm invidious_postgresdata this? | 14:09:39 |
wanion20 | I will do it and report back | 14:09:56 |
TheFrenchGhosty | In reply to @wanion20:matrix.org
$ docker volume rm invidious_postgresdata this? postgresdata should be enough | 14:10:02 |
TheFrenchGhosty | (don't forgot to compose down first) | 14:10:09 |

wanion20 | In reply to @thefrenchghosty:pussthecat.org (don't forget to compose down first) Ofcourse.. | 14:10:32 |
TheFrenchGhosty | In reply to @wanion20:matrix.org Ofcourse.. I don't know how comfortable you are with docker, so I'm just making sure :3 | 14:11:04 |
wanion20 | In reply to @thefrenchghosty:pussthecat.org I don't know how comfortable you are with docker, so I'm just making sure :3 I am fairly comfortable. But I would have missed that step without your warning. Hence the facepalm of self-disappointment :P | 14:11:55 |
