Samantaz Fox | but I never paid attention | 22:00:51 |
@ole:matrix.uwuwhatsthis.de | In reply to @absidue:matrix.org I'm not sure if Invidious' CSP is the problem here, otherwise all other instances would be having playback issues too, seems more likely that it is a configuration or setup specific issue It does seem that way, but I just followed the guide on the non docker install | 22:01:04 |
Samantaz Fox | Maybe a chrome update changed something, idk | 22:01:29 |
@ole:matrix.uwuwhatsthis.de | In reply to @samantazfox:pussthecat.org absidue I do have a CSP issue on the test instance, too. Are firefox's about:config settings cross profile? | 22:01:32 |
@ole:matrix.uwuwhatsthis.de | Cause I have modified them a bit.
But scratch that, cause it failed in Brave and Chromium too | 22:01:58 |

@ole:matrix.uwuwhatsthis.de | In reply to @samantazfox:pussthecat.org absidue I do have a CSP issue on the test instance, too. * Are firefox's about:config settings cross profile? Because I just tested it with a fresh profile and it still persists. | 22:04:40 |
Samantaz Fox | ole I just checked, it's likely a plugin or config issue in your browser(s) | 22:10:20 |
Samantaz Fox | works perfectly here | 22:10:28 |
Samantaz Fox | wait, nevermind, I wans't using dash -_- | 22:12:16 |
@ole:matrix.uwuwhatsthis.de | Hmm, I just created a new profile with nothing installed and it still fails | 22:12:16 |
Samantaz Fox | okay, I foudn the problem. you have an extra CSP header | 22:16:07 |
Samantaz Fox | check your nginx config, an included file might be adding it. | 22:16:21 |
Samantaz Fox |  Download clipboard.png | 22:17:03 |
@ole:matrix.uwuwhatsthis.de | Ah yes, found the header in /etc/nginx/conf-enabled/headers.conf . The mailserver I'm running probably added it there :/ | 22:20:24 |
@ole:matrix.uwuwhatsthis.de | With it commented out, it works as expected, thanks :D | 22:20:41 |
Samantaz Fox | nice :D | 22:20:49 |

AlexPewMaster (moved to @alexpewmaster:reallyaweso.me) | I don't know why, but I always get a 504 Gateway Time-out error whenever I visit my own Invidious instance. It used to work perfectly fine with the same config, now it doesn't. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? The instance URL is https://invidious.reallyaweso.me if you want to try it for yourself. | 09:48:05 |
rnddoni | Hey everyone, is there a changelog for invidious? I checked docs and google but i can only find this outdated page: https://github.com/iv-org/invidious/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md | 10:30:01 |
