Yeah I see that but it thought SMA default has better but you're saying the the internal antenna is better? By internal I mean the side connection itself :)

And you are right.
Yes but people here like create many myths about RF and still look at this, as like voodoo magic. But they don't want to just get knowledge of what is just basics principles. Easy to understand without any academic knowledge. "link budget" is a good example. You need to have primary school maths to understand this (ok perhaps secondary school cause logarithms). But no one is interested in that. They ask or share different strange information about how RF works

the RSSI reading in openhd shows the value from the "internal" antenna (at least for Asus ac-56). I only have Asus, so can't tell if for other wifi stick it works as it should. That's why I attached the bigger antenna to the "second / internal" sma

And that's why I was wrong about changing the antennas and seeng the same RSSI for AC56. That explains a lot. Do you happen to have a link for your big ground antenna? I wanna have the same. Looks awesome.

Elegant setup, but a bit more expensive, than a phone with screen recording app.... 😊

@telegram_285768993:t2bot.ioAndrius Narbutasprobably. Not debating what is cheaper 😉11:34:08
