Kava testnet-3000 is for:
• Validators who will be in the mainnet genesis
• Professional validators looking to test their production setup

The code for testnet-3000 (and mainnet) is ready. All tests are passing and we just successfully ran a giant batch of simulations.
We're waiting on one upstream PR in cosmos-sdk to get merged before we can formally freeze the code and begin collecting gentx for
testnet-3000. Once merged, we'll give people ~48 hours to submit gentx then launch testnet-3000. Sorry for the ongoing delay, the cosmos
team is busy with upgrading to cosmoshub-3 and implementing IBC, so it's understandable that we aren't a top priority. Thanks for your patients. | 17:25:44 |

Kava Testnet-3000 is ready! The testnet launch date will be Friday, October 18th at 14:00 UTC. To participate as a validator, please follow the instructions here and submit a gentx along with an account address. Assuming no major issues are found, this will be the final testnet before mainnet launch, which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 5th at 14:00 UTC.
