Simon Holden (SuperflysiNZ) | I'm trying to get a gridspread 3d and use the points into a compute stage, I've managed to use a GetVector3 to grab one, but I'd like to pass all of the vectors on.... | 21:51:19 |

tim_ru | you can also use Gridspace | 08:03:40 |
Simon Holden (SuperflysiNZ) | Final goal was to be able to feed any spread, like joint positions from Zed camera for example. | 20:19:36 |
tebjan | In reply to @simonholden:matrix.org This worked... You'll get the index from the ThreadID of the compute shader thread. The node is called ThreadIDX or something like that | 20:29:41 |

ain | hey texone:
Here are some topics/questions for the upcoming particles workshop:
- how to combine forces so they work correctly together? And all about forces' settings like "apply to velocity", "additive velocity" etc
- drawing lines (maybe not only trail-like, but kind of connecting particles?)
- something like direct animation of particles without forces? Like attractors, position morphing..
Guess you were going to cover some of these, I've just tried to scan through the help patches and think what I'd like to know.
Thanks for the previous session, it was great (☆▽☆)

Simon Holden (SuperflysiNZ) | Use Optical Flow example is having trouble with SampleTexture2DBox (Gridspace), this node is showing red, on my laptop and desktop working fine. It was working on the Beta 3, but not Beta 4 of Fuse. | 10:40:23 |

Simon Holden (SuperflysiNZ) | I'm using a pad to distribute my OSC data around my patch, I'm using receivers at then end of those pads with the OSC address. For some reason when I reload my patch, the OSC Receiver forgets it's type I'm thinking, and I need to disconnect the output, and reconnect it to get the message thru. If I don't use a pad this seems to be fine, but then I wanted to tidy things up a bit... The outputs are connected to pads which have the type set. I'd prefer to use pads, but maybe this isn't the right way to do it? | 06:19:10 |
