bj-rn | When replacing this with a Delegate Region instead it works. | 09:21:30 |
bj-rn | * Afaict this is caused by (or related to) the Region (1->1) / CheckDefault/ InvokeRegion used inside. | 09:24:05 |

bj-rn | * Hey, currently watching the Fuse workshop on Raymarching. In the second part Noise (Value 2D Scalar Derivatives) is used. This node has been renamed / changed to ValueNoise (2D Derivatives) since and unfortunately is broken. Only one of the outputs works at a time basically at random whe restarting (F9) and the Log is spammed with the following messages: | 09:26:21 |
bj-rn | For me the latest version of the nuget (1.0.3-beta06 ) seems to be working mostly fine with 6.7 previews. | 09:29:01 |

Maxime | To me, you have an issue with your calculation when you try to update the buffer. If you simply use Index , and not Index + Id , then you will see that you are writing to your Buffer correctly. | 09:43:55 |

Maxime | Your For loop is only for 4 elements, so only the first four items in the Buffer are set to a Vector3 = 0 | 09:45:04 |

tim_ru | thank you! but thats not what i am trying to achieve. I need to update the buffer based on the ID. Like below: I want to update the four elements of my bigger buffer (FlatNeighborPositions) that are associated with the ID of my particle | 11:10:17 |

bj-rn | It says Touchdesigner developer but I guess as long as the result fits it doesn't matter. | 10:48:16 |

Our video should showcase the same particles, but in motion. Please submit a bid along with a relevant portfolio that highlights your particle work and briefly outline your approach to this project. | 10:49:06 |

simonemarin[io] | Hallo I have just installed -pre in vl6.6 but not even the basic p[articles examples work, no errors but no particles either, maybe there is some limitation on a Vega 8 graphic card? | 20:38:53 |
ain | Once I've seen a similar situation on a laptop with an AMD integrated GPU, no particles at all and no errors also | 21:59:41 |

motzi | Unfortunately that's a common problem with AMD CPUs. Lot's of our students face this issue... | 10:11:05 |
texone | guess I need to check things with amd have no amd gpu | 13:01:06 |
motzi | In reply to @motzi:matrix.orgSorry, autocorrect made GPU to CPU | 18:59:44 |

kopffarben | If I remember correctly, for the AMD GPUs you have to fill up the struct with dummies so that you get a stride of n×64. At least that was the case back then. I haven't had an AMD GPU for a long time. | 21:10:40 |
