obersuppenruehrer | 1. Muntashir, I wish you all the best for your higher education plans! 2. I have an odd problem with the last few debug 4.x versions. Occasionally, when trying to install an apk, I get the message "couldn't retrieve package info" (or something very similar). I then have to force close AM and wipe cache to make it work again. Is that known? Or should I post further info? If so, what? | 23:27:19 |

Rohann | In reply to @obersuppenruehrer:matrix.org when I get this, if I choose* open with AM Debugβs App Info instead (rather than Install) it usually is able to retrieve the package info then (can select install after in app info). * this probably depends on if you have Install with AM Debug set as a default though | 09:37:27 |

ββππ₯β―Eknomβ―π₯πββ | last night i had this nightmare bug almost infinite loop, luckily updating the app solved one of the problems but this is not the first time it has happened where in the past with many versions of app manager, if you select app manager as the default package installer you can run into this problem where app manager will crash during installation, and resetting the default app becomes really hard. it became like a Tick bug (the bugs that latch and lock on to animals) it tried many angles to make it not be the defeault app and then it wouldn't even allow itself to be uninstalled LOL since the default app was app manager which only crashes when opening an apk or even uninstalling, i dont even know if i can explain it properly but what a nightmare | 17:18:40 |

ββππ₯β―Eknomβ―π₯πββ | i have experienced this problem many times in the past (more than 2 years ago and further back) so much that I became traumatized every time i selected app manager as the default package /apk installer. Every time there was an update I'd pray and hope this problem would be fixed. So when i updated yesterday I still had the issue of trying to uninstall it but then i was able to install all apps successfully so i left it at that. But I do recommend to Muntashir Akon to look closely into this as it drove me nuts (and im pretty tech-savvy) and for non-advanced users this can become a nightmarish bug. I recommended this app to one of my less tech-savvy friends and he got freaked out. It took me probably 20-30minutes trying different angles just to get it to work properly which it only 1/2 did with the latest update.. | 17:36:10 |

Muntashir Akon | In reply to @sennin78:matrix.org I've only vaguely understood what you're trying to say. My suggestions are as follows:
This way, I can clearly get the picture and fix your issues. | 04:39:41 |
Muntashir Akon | * I've only vaguely understood what you're trying to say. My suggestions are as follows: Rewrite your comments using formal English using simple sentences. English is not my native language, and it was not long since I had started practising it. So, you have to take this into account. Include the versions you've tested along with device info. **This is very important.** You seem to be facing more than one issue. So, you should either start or end the post by clearly outlining the issues you're facing. This way, I can clearly get the picture and fix your issues. | 04:40:08 |

ββππ₯β―Eknomβ―π₯πββ | To be simple, I think its important to test the app to find bugs. I would write more on this but I prefer to trust that things will get better, I am a little too tired so maybe I will later see if the issue persists and write about it. | 02:32:34 |
Muntashir Akon | I think you can start by finding a stable way to reproduce it, at least, in your device. This would make it easier for you to test in case I cannot reproduce it on my device (It usually takes one to three builds to fix issues that aren't reproducible on my side). | 02:51:31 |
