joni_999 | Hi! I'm trying to get my HP Reverb G2 to get recognized in SteamVR with the Monado plugin. I installed the driver with the vrpathreg.sh and I can see it in the SteamVR settings, but every time SteamVR is launched it is automatically disabled beacause "Due to a recent crash, some SteamVR add-ons have been blocked" See screenshot below. I tried to re-enable it but after I restart it it is disabled again with the same message shown. Does somebody have a clue why SteamVR disables the monado plugin every time I try to launch it? | 14:46:39 |

joni_999 | Download vrserver.txt | 14:47:57 |
joni_999 | Here's the vrserver logfile: | 14:47:58 |
joni_999 | Download monado-service.txt | 14:49:39 |
joni_999 | And the monado-service output: | 14:49:40 |
thaytan | Don't run Monado separately when using the SteamVR plugin | 14:49:57 |
thaytan | It's a driver that uses Monado implementations to talk to the controllers, with SteamVR doing the graphics, and can't run at the same time as Monado itself | 14:50:30 |
joni_999 | ah, oops! I'll try again without it running | 14:50:47 |
thaytan | (I been finding it's generally easier to use Envision to build everything and use OpenComposite for apps instead of native SteamVR) | 14:51:24 |
