Bitterness

There’s something that we all must face
That doth our souls oppress,
Unless we ask the Lord for grace;
This fiend is bitterness.

It comes when we don’t get our way
Or someone doth offend.
Instead of pausing just to pray
We leave our dearest friend.

And often others take our side
And they are led astray.
We’re stubborn and so filled with pride,
We leave the narrow way.

We should forgive like God forgives
And love as he doth love.
For Christ Himself within our lives
Does guide us from above.

The choice is yours – you must decide:
Conceal it or confess!
In peace and joy you can abide
Or keep your bitterness.

Get rid of bitterness, my friend.
Yes, do it for survival,
Or you will face a bitter end
And never know revival.

Many folks in today’s world, reply to witnessing with: “that’s your truth, not mine”…

We can reply with… “Not My Truth, HIS Truth” … then share, “Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice Before the Lord : for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.” Psalm 96:10-13

Emphasis, “HIS TRUTH”!

Study Is Necessary

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

It is a sad fact that many pulpits are circling the drain on this earth.  Though God promises there will always be a remnant of sincere believers, there is undoubtedly a whole gutter full of dark-minded preachers who do not know or serve God.  It is because such so-called preachers exist that each of us must understand and apply the Word of God.

Failing to study the Word of God leaves a person open to believing the lies of the god of this world.  Not only that but repeating disinformation to other people, who we have contact with in this world.  That is akin to failing to serve and savor God twice!  Once to ourselves and second passing the same lies, we learned to others.

Yes, each person must know the Word of God, how to apply it in their own life, teach it to others through witnessing, and then be able to stand before God without embarrassment.

Ricard: Yes, it is similar to Ray’s style of preaching.

We actually put that together, to reply to email and text scammers. They usually never send more messages. Once in a while it makes a scammer angry and they ask us to stop sending them messages… kind of makes us laugh - as they were the initiator to try and scam us. Ha! But… they get a simple gospel message. ✔️👍🏼

Ricard: Sometimes I just hang up on scam calls… I have tried to talk about the LORD to some callers randomly now and then… but, I haven’t had any stay on the phone to hear the gospel yet. They usually just hang up without a saying a word. But… it may be because they are hired at a call bank/center, and could get into an issue with the company… or, they just don’t want to hear about THE KING of kings!?!?
