Will note this year's presentation round here, to create a bigger index
I think that's actually the best and most authentic form for HACC, to be an index of people & projects who come to CCC. | 01:51:58 |

xavcc | Hi there,
I would like to invite you in Bruxelles, Feb. 2 & 3. OFFDEM O4 festival https://oxygen.offdem.net/pub/call-for-presence
I'm involved in OFFDEM organisation and coordination since 3 years. And more with Exposing The Invisible, and sometimes on PublicLab. And every week in a biohackerspace in France.
It's a Festival with "Call for Presence" that focuses on fundamental rights and technology (not just software).
It's co-organized with undocumented migrants and refugees. In fact, they're the ones who welcome us in the squatted/occupied building (a precarious lease makes this possible - and the NGO I'm part of is the guarantor and signatory of this lease).
A few examples from previous OFFDEMs:
last year we did sessions on investigating pollutants from computer waste + reverse engineering; a workshop on hormones and gender; 2 years ago there was a session on putting migratory journeys into narrative form and publishing them.
Who can tell? It's the people present who make the event and the (non)program. For my part, I'm preparing a session on "Waters and investigations / hacktivism".). Je serais ravi de voir aussi votre session "sustainability/HACC", either everything you wish.
I'd be delighted to know you're interested, and even more thrilled to see you there. | 09:09:41 |

dcht00 | Thanks for the invite xavcc , I will forward it to the HACC session at 37c3, yet to be announced | 15:23:51 |
dcht00 | Will you be there? | 15:24:23 |
dcht00 | If anyone would like to help organize the session please let me know. It's not very difficult, it will just be free form + notes, as always. | 15:25:02 |
dcht00 | And hopefully we can make some decisions as well | 15:25:09 |

dcht00 | 1peter10: What's happening to the Hacc wiki? | 21:07:16 |
dcht00 | We all agreed it would be sunset. Then you went back and erased the acknowledgment from the wiki, making it "active" again, though nobody edits and or uses it | 21:08:56 |
dcht00 | During 37c3, but not the days immediately before or after, the wiki was down | 21:09:12 |
dcht00 | Now it's down again. | 21:09:51 |
1peter10 | Nothing is happening with it, it's just that hosting Mediawiki on uberspace is dumb. It goes down without my interaction, and it starts up again without it again.
(Back when it ran somewhat okay, I had set up a cron job, that restarted the php daemon daily, it seems to have broken down.) I don't think it should be moved to a static page instead, so that it's just a memento, but I did not have the time to do so, yet.
At least I find the time and money to pay the 5 Euro/month to keep hacc.uber.space up and running. | 21:22:33 |
dcht00 | Can we please just take it down like we agreed to do and you acknowledge that? | 21:23:18 |
dcht00 | * Can we please just take it down like we agreed to do and you acknowledged that? | 21:23:58 |
dcht00 | We've already discussed the wiki and made a decision about it. I don't understand why you keep it online, and now even that is lacking | 21:25:39 |
dcht00 | Or you want to wait another year? Just so we have an idea. | 21:26:28 |
1peter10 | IIRC there was a plan to move contents to some pad infrastructure. That was then scrapped, without consensus. Somebody new edited something on the wiki. Thus I removed the deprecation notice. This was literally many, many months ago - I expected to hear from you then (why now!?):
My idea was to keep it going for another year, I just paid today to keep it going for 4 more months. But yeah, if you want it down, fine by me. It will just end. | 21:31:13 |

1peter10 | If someone here wants a backup, now is the time, then, I suppose. | 21:33:21 |

dcht00 | I propose to publish the wiki dump, making it static is a bonus (maybe archive.org did that). | 21:34:41 |
