@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <hxv.me> since I've got my newly gained XP constantly displayed, I started noticing that website shows too high value in recent XP – I don't know who to blame for this yet, but someone should be held accountable 😄09:05:37
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> I recall there was some bug about that09:06:09

@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <hxv.me> I don't know if total XP eventually goes down, but there is definitely a mismatch between website and the API09:19:15

@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> note that the API is from request time back 12 hours09:57:04
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> the website keeps your recent XP forever if you don't refresh ti09:57:15

@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <phv> 9hrs? I don't remember if I eating that day. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/510060567298310146/1195664820423364719/image.png?ex=65b4d0a3&is=65a25ba3&hm=d31dfe1fd3124928ec7b8ed93f9883ffda777cc6763f400e92b0953e33752dbd&09:45:07

@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <fpers0n> @nicd hey! When building the flow feature, have you also experimented with trying to figure out an approximation of total coding time per day? I was recently thinking that it could also be an interesting metric. :)14:20:16
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> I have not14:20:32
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> it would be interesting, but difficult to calculate, and it varies per person and per day14:20:44
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> sometimes I have very distracted / slow coding as I read specs and draw out designs, sometimes I have very focused hammering on the keyboard14:21:18
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <fpers0n> > and it varies per person and per day Yes! I haven't considered the "per day" aspect before, but I thought the parameters of the algorithm (like max break time) could be customizable14:23:23
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> Well, I figure a smart data scientist could figure out a way to estimate it with some accuracy14:29:20
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> But I'm not a smart data scientist so I honestly don't know where to start14:29:37

@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <dbaer> Thank you for posting @nicd (https://elixirforum.com/t/deploying-a-release-from-an-arm-laptop/53906), I've been looking at moving our production app at work into docker, and building it in CI rather than on the prod server. you have a very similar setup as me (m1 mac mini dev box, amd64 prod server, GitLab self hosted). My only issue is the GitLab runner is in a VM on the m1 (GitLab was also in a VM on there but I recently had an old AMD workstation get upgraded so I usurped the old one) - I'm trying to figure out if docker can cross-compile or if I need to use Burrito for the actual build23:20:44
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <dbaer> hmm I may end up running into the same NIF issues you did23:22:46

@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> yeah the NIFs killed my Burrito hopes11:34:51
@tunnelmaster:matrix.orgtunnelmaster[discord] <nicd> NIFs are the devil11:34:59
