hexmode | should be good as new? | 16:08:17 |
rundg | Looks like my edits were preserved (Yay) | 16:09:59 |
rundg | But, seriously, take a look at http://demo.qualitybox.us:20000 and tell my you're not amazed. These are all real-time stats, with hardly an impact on the host. | 16:11:05 |

rundg | @jamesmontalvo3:matrix.org: hmm, don't know why you're blocked or something | 16:49:17 |
rundg | What about http://67.205.136.103:20000/#;theme=slate;help=true | 16:50:33 |
hexmode | I'm guessing nasa doesn't allow non-standard ports | 16:51:18 |
rundg | Yeah, I think we ran into this before. | 16:51:51 |
jamesmontalvo3 | yeah that must be it. works from my phone. | 17:34:46 |
jamesmontalvo3 | How much of a resource hog is netdata? | 17:37:14 |
jamesmontalvo3 | I seem to recall it wanted a lot...wanted to build it into meza | 17:37:24 |
Bryan Hilderbrand | Same here, works from my phone, not my work computer. | 17:54:07 |
rundg | netdata on my.qualitybox.us, collects every second 1,646 metrics, presented as 258 charts and monitored by 70 alarms, using 27 MB of memory for 1 hour, 6 mins and 36 secs of real-time history. | 18:18:13 |

jamesmontalvo3 | freephile: add to meza? | 13:10:55 |
rundg | i think it's a great idea... I'd like to incorporate netdata on my fleet of hosts, and farms. That's what it's capable of, using client js to bind things together. | 13:13:47 |
rundg | In other words, I want each of my clients to be able to monitor their servers; and I want to be able to monitor all of my clients | 13:14:56 |
dataspects | By all means this should be included in Meza. +1 This is great! | 13:18:21 |
benfletcher | Was there any thoughts on this business showcase part of the wiki? Would it be worth us having a VTC for those interested in this part of the showcase, maybe on Thursday or Friday? | 17:03:37 |
Bryan Hilderbrand | benfletcher: I'd be interested. | 19:18:45 |
cicalese | me too | 19:19:10 |
benfletcher | Excellent, any suggestions on conferencing software (no huge debate please!!). I'll set a time convenient for all and advertise it. | 21:55:41 |
cicalese | Google Hangout? As long as we don't have too many people. | 21:57:02 |
benfletcher | Done! | 21:57:43 |

benfletcher | If I went for 1600 BST, this would be 1000 CDT is this an ok time? I'm not sure what time zones you are on. Shall we go for Thursday? I'll then set it up and spread the word, even if it is only the 3 of us it is a start. | 07:10:08 |
Bryan Hilderbrand | That's 8am here. Works for me. | 07:37:48 |
benfletcher | I can do later, I don't mind. | 07:42:14 |
dataspects | That's 5PM CET on Thursday April 12th... Ayeaye! | 07:47:49 |
sabinemelnicki | Hi, Lex @dataspects suggested to consider the datencockpit.at (given it's ontology still gets translated into English) as a (another) showcase wiki, Bernhard @krabina has already put a lot of effort into its structure and ontology. I unfortunately won't make it to tomorrow's meeting, but if you come up with prerequisites for taking the wiki as a showcase, I'd be more than happy to try to make it work. Since its usecase is interesting for companies all over Europe (record of processing activities demanded by the new GDPR), I consider it a win-win for companies and the EMW community. | 08:05:59 |
benfletcher | I'm assuming we are happy with the proposed time, we can move it if need be.
