codeDude | hi there
| 19:59:53 |
codeDude | I use the container plugin in my firefox browser I just to installed firefox and the plugin again in a new computer but the containers have CORS errors in some requests when I visit the sites without containers or in private mode, the CORS errors don't appear

rayv | In reply to @the-only-user:beeper.com Is this an alternative CSS for firefox? Yes! And now I can group containers. | 20:03:34 |

Did you assign the website to automatically open in a container OR do you log in to an account on that website? | 21:54:09 |
codeDude | @danikde:fedora.im
| 22:53:04 |
codeDude | @danikde:fedora.im I only log in to an account on that website but then I noticed that I wasn't in the session so I tried to log in again and CORS errors appear
| 22:54:02 |
codeDude | The site that I tried to log in is presearch. I happens in jibajb too
| 22:55:02 |
codeDude | but when I'm not using containers all it's ok
| 22:55:18 |

| 23:02:38 |
Danny Colin | codeDude: If there's a log in involved, the usual issue is that the login mechanism tries to communicate with a third-party website that isn't assigned to the container. I've seen it especially when "Limit to designated sites" is also enabled. | 23:03:21 |
codeDude | so What's the solution? Should I clean cache to try to create a new session?
| 23:08:07 |
codeDude | well it works hahaha
| 23:11:27 |
codeDude | thanks for the explanation
| 23:11:34 |
Danny Colin | Strange. Maybe the issue was a corrupted cookie or data from the website because if it was the problem I mentioned clearing the cache shouldn't have solved it. | 23:17:05 |
Danny Colin | Still glad that the problem got fixed 🙂 | 23:18:34 |
codeDude | now the recaptcha of the site kick me out hahaha
| 23:20:18 |
codeDude | but I think it's because the page or something related to containers
| 23:20:48 |
codeDude | Do the containers mix the cookies, local storages and session storages? or they are contained in different containers ?
| 23:21:46 |
Danny Colin | A few possible scenarios:
- Website A is assigned in Container 1 and "Limit to designated is enabled. In this case, every other website (including a reCaptcha) are opened outside the container and the data for it is saved outside the container too
- reCaptcha is from google. If *.google.com is assigned to container 1 and you try to open it in container 2, maybe the addon is confused and the data for reCaptcha is lost in the process so the login fails.
| 23:30:24 |
Danny Colin | (and yes, containers have their own cookie/data jar) | 23:31:33 |
codeDude | in the other site the issue persist but now even in the not containers I tried to remove the plugin and try with vanilla firefox
| 23:57:25 |

codeDude | nop the problem is not container now it's in firefox in general hahaha
| 00:00:53 |
Danny Colin | On the bright side, you know it isn't container related 😛 | 00:12:13 |
Danny Colin | You can always create a new profile in about:profile to do some test. You can set the old profile as the default one again in the same page later on. | 00:13:18 |
codeDude | I figured out that I have a CORS origin plugin for an specific dev project and it is messing up all the other sites
| 00:57:21 |
codeDude | well I'll develop this specific thing in chrome and use firefox with all the other, honestly I don't know and I don't care Why the project crash in firefox I pretty sure it bussisness of the DevOps team
| 00:59:31 |
codeDude | haha
| 00:59:32 |
codeDude | thanks for you help any way
