@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonhi, I just saw my fairphone 3+ is no longer charging. If I turn it off and plug it in, it will turn on the initial screen every few minutes to show it is charging.. then go back to sleep.. but while on it doesn't charge. does that mean the charging module is to be replaced or the battery? and can I even still buy charging modules for that kind of fairphone?09:04:57
@vri:cozy.townVri ยท Lisa ๐ŸŒˆDo other chargers work?09:06:14
@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonI've tried a few.. 09:06:22
@vri:cozy.townVri ยท Lisa ๐ŸŒˆJust a wild guess. I probably can't help you, but hopefully others can. :)09:07:12
@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonthanks!09:07:30
@vri:cozy.townVri ยท Lisa ๐ŸŒˆHad a similar issue with my Pixel 3a, and it now works as if there never was a problem. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ09:08:29
@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonbut did you do anything to fix it?09:09:02
@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonit is really hot here so maybe it just got humid..09:09:27
@vri:cozy.townVri ยท Lisa ๐ŸŒˆNope, but some chargers worked and others didn't.09:09:43
@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonyeah it keeps showing the "fairphone powered by android" screen and then the battery icon.. stil at the same level from 5 minutes ago.. normally it would have charged it a bit09:10:52
@vri:cozy.townVri ยท Lisa ๐ŸŒˆDo you have to press the power button, or does the charger initialize the (re)boot?09:12:15
@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonthe charger does the thing it normally does if you press a button while it charges.. which is to show the level09:12:55
@vri:cozy.townVri ยท Lisa ๐ŸŒˆ

Okay, it may have been a stupid not so great question. ^^

I am out of ideas for now. Wish you success!

@alecanque:matrix.orgshomonmaybe does anyone know if this bottom module also does charging? Ie if I order one maybe I'll fix this: https://shop.fairphone.com/shop/fairphone-3-bottom-module-37?category=4#attr=09:19:04
@c.carter.iee:matrix.org@c.carter.iee:matrix.orgNOT on an FP3 but I have had 'stalled charging' issues that were solved by re-seating the battery (i.e. take it out and put it back in). Seems like the battery connections can sometimes be marginal.14:39:54
