TheArduinoGuy | So on the bottom there you have the positive wire with a 68K resistor in series and the negative wire with a 150K resistor. There appears to be a trace joing the tops of both of those resistors. I need to check that tonight with my continuity probe. | 08:55:58 |
TheArduinoGuy | So I am wondering if this is why my new pad is not working correctly or if it is a mechanical issue | 08:56:22 |

TheArduinoGuy | So after doing a bit of research it looks like those resistors are essential so i'll solder some on tonight and see if it improves things | 13:10:07 |
TheArduinoGuy | I am sure ionised would know what they are for | 13:25:37 |

ionised | In reply to @TheArduinoGuy:matrix.org I am sure ionised would know what they are for Only thing I can think is to balance the levels of the piezos. Often an amplifiers input will be impedance matched to the signal source so it might be optimised for a different amplifier input of your original system. Resistors across the piezo are most likely to dampen or dissipate the ringing you'll get from a piezo. | 16:51:30 |
chupi | thanks for the invitation :-) | 17:27:38 |

The filter I was working on at the weekend. I love the amount of resonance this circuit adds!
The filter cutoff is voltage controlled, so I can replace the pot with a microcontroller & step sequencer. | 22:52:12 |

mattbhome3 | Hi method2madness. Nice logo. I did a Inkscape guide for a stack of coins and made them into cogs. | 12:30:09 |

mattbhome3 | In reply to @adhdhobbyist:matrix.org sent an image. method2madness: I like the cog idea here. Do you mind if I play about with logo ideas as they come to me? I'm thinking the logo look like it could be made. | 10:09:47 |
