aaron | Ayup, that was a hefty draw-5. Yahtzee? | 13:59:56 |

aaron | Is there any chance white wizards will learn how notifications work on iOS? | 12:58:46 |
aaron | One of the reviews on the App Store even mentions their inability to clear notifications. :P | 12:59:19 |
kon | What is the issue? | 13:27:10 |
aaron | In epic, since the last breaking update, notifications have been stuck on. So if you play your games, it never deletes turn notifications in the notification area. | 14:10:56 |
aaron | Star realms also just stopped deleting them for a while for some reason, and leaving random 1 markers on the app. | 14:11:24 |
kon | Can you manually clear them? On Android, it clears the notification of you click on the notification to launch the app but not if you launch it via the home screen, app drawer, or app switcher. | 14:21:43 |
aaron | You can clear the individual ones. Individually. | 14:22:46 |
aaron | On iOS, all of those are supposed to clear notifications. | 14:23:13 |
aaron | But you can’t clear stuck +1 counters. It’s up to the app to stop being silly and unable to count, and reset their +1 badges every now and then. | 14:24:14 |

kon | I hate getting a 4/4 opening on a starting trade row with a 5 cost powerhouse and not much else. | 22:26:48 |

kon | aaron: you broke the game. Did you create the secret base and immediately scrap the hidden outpost Gambit? For me, you scraped the base (but are still getting protection from it). | 12:15:05 |
aaron | kon: Hah, yea. I double-tapped the gambit. | 12:53:09 |
aaron | Does that make me invulnerable? | 12:53:20 |
kon | It does | 12:56:48 |
aaron | Want me to just take my next turn normal and see if it sorts itself? I can’t pop the base, can I? | 13:07:19 |

aaron | That viper gambit is insane. I think that one is probably overpowered. | 11:47:30 |
aaron | The new ships do seem more pokey though, so I guess it fits in with them. | 11:48:10 |
aaron | But that’s just a lot of sustained damage... | 11:48:28 |
kon | I was hoping to buy more poke but the market was expensive. | 18:50:23 |
aaron | Yea. It really dominates in a poop market. | 18:51:06 |

aaron | kon: Thoughts on the new Sorcerer game? Looks fun, but not sure it’s something I’d buy. | 23:51:20 |

kon | I got to play it last year at Games Fair (and for can play it this year, if you go). I liked it. It was a very heavy (in terms of decisions) tactical card game. You have a limited number of actions per turn and get almost nothing for free (not even a card draw). The game is about making best use of your actions. | 18:00:03 |
kon | I will not buy it, though, since it seems likely a game that benefits from having a regular game partner of roughly equal skill. I don't think my fiancee will be all that interested in it. | 18:02:50 |
aaron | That’s the impression I got from it too. Not quite the family game. | 18:07:35 |
aaron | Even worse than dominion in terms of finding a group. | 18:08:24 |
kon | So is are any of you going to White Wizard Games Fair this year? I am. | 19:36:07 |
aaron | When is it? And where? Boston? | 19:36:42 |
kon | The weekend before Thanksgiving (17-19) in Framingham. | 19:42:23 |
kon | You haven't been getting spammed about it for the last couple of months? | 19:42:48 |
