Cons:
Riot [desktop?] only has two visual lines, anything after that is not visible, even if we try to "scroll". [mobile app has scrolling there]
If there are many many words in the subsequent lines, all this is redundant info.
also it means in room directories [desktop] it takes up a whole page [mobile app limits shown info about rooms to be equal with all]
It isn't possible to expand and collapse these fields or set your default view preferences.
Until this is fixed long names and descriptions might annoy users?

You can have access to more relevant information for the room straight in the room name and description.
