k1nk0z | Greetings, I am looking for a used Android-based smartphone / tablet to run lineageos for diverse hacking apps, e.g. for chameleon and proxmark such as walrus or as a remote screen for a Rpi running Kali, it should be able to work with NXP MF cards, and also be able to run Kali/Nethunter. Ideally the battery is replacable. If smartphone maybe one with big or dual screen. what devices would you recommend? | 16:14:27 |

k1nk0z | I haven' used Nethunter so far, that's why I have a general question which might seem to have obvious answers to you, but it would help me to decide on the path:
what would be the pros and cons of either installing Kali in Android Termux (https://github.com/MasterDevX/Termux-Kali/blob/master/InstallKali.sh) or installing Nethunter?
Is it possible to install them both and eahc of them? | 08:56:04 |
vice | Nethunter includes an Android app. | 08:59:51 |
vice | And a custom kernel | 09:00:22 |
vice | Nethunter includes a full kali | 09:01:23 |
k1nk0z | so if I install https://github.com/Hax4us/Nethunter-In-Termux that will also give me a full kali? | 09:10:35 |
vice | I don’t know if you’ll miss any functionalities because of your standard kernel. | 09:13:12 |
k1nk0z | OK if I would install the Nethunter image, would I be able to run regular Android Apps, as I need some apps for RFID tools | 09:14:05 |
vice | Iam not an official supporter | 09:14:08 |
k1nk0z | but you know more about that than me | 09:14:25 |
vice | I installed nethunter from daily builds. I got a link in the irc channel. | 09:15:18 |
k1nk0z | are you able to install an run android apps on your nethunter device? | 09:15:52 |
vice | If you include the google tools when installing nh, you’ll get the playstore. | 09:16:30 |
vice | Yes I am | 09:16:45 |
vice | Fdroid better than playstore | 09:17:28 |
k1nk0z | OK, so this may be the way to go. I dont really need the google store, just some store where I get the few apps that I need for my tools. This device is not for regular phone usage, it is just for some hacking | 09:17:39 |
vice | You don’t have to install google-tools | 09:17:47 |
k1nk0z | great | 09:17:53 |
k1nk0z | so what is the android that it is running? | 09:18:05 |
vice | Depends on the phone. | 09:18:22 |
vice | What phone do you have? | 09:18:38 |
k1nk0z | I thought it is replacing the original phone's OS image? | 09:18:52 |
k1nk0z | OnePlus | 09:18:56 |
vice | One plus one? | 09:19:05 |
k1nk0z | 6T | 09:19:08 |
