MorsMortium | In reply to @zadocta:matrix.org I seriously wish there was another android app The last time the LBRY-Android-App got an update was 2 years ago I wish gtk worked for android, but the build process is very unmaintained | 05:46:31 |
MorsMortium | In reply to @zadocta:matrix.org BTW, if I'm not wrong didn't Odysee like, Not contribute certain new features back to the LBRY repos??? Some features of odysee need a separate server, like view counters, likes, comments, etc. Those cant be added to lbry | 05:48:15 |

Lorewright | Does anyone know if there's a way to set the LBRY app "auto hosting" feature to store its files on a different drive? Currently, it's only storing on my boot drive and I have limited space on that. I'd love to increase that cap significantly but I can only do that if I'm able to get it to store on one of my larger drives | 03:53:09 |

You can modify that with lbrynet settings set and key value pairs. You are probably looking for data_dir | 16:20:18 |

I have very minimal experience with coding so I'm not sure that'd work for me | 06:28:54 |

I have very minimal experience with coding so I'm not sure that'd work for me Im sorry i assumed a bit too much knowledge. I presumed you mean the desktop app, running under linux, but it works the same on windows. I dont mean any source code editing, but working with the command line program, that lbry desktop uses to communicate with the lbry network. On linux it should be in path, meaning opening a terminal and typing lbrynet should run the command and display a help message. On windows it is probably next to the lbry desktop executable, and opening a terminal in that folder, or navigating to that folder after opening the terminal, and then typing .\lbrynet would display the same help message. If lbrynet is located, then could you try lbrynet settings get | 08:25:26 |

Anyways, I tried opening the folder in Powershell and fooled around with that command but it just opened the exe to the settings menu and I don't see an option to change where the LBRY desktop app stores its auto hosted content | 08:12:50 |
