Vinny P | Why did they remove the ability to manually download apk from AuroraStore? Now when you click copy download link it copies the link to the apps Play Store page not the actual download link | 20:31:12 |

zskiraly | I'm getting that lenght=3, index=-1 error, but only on one of my devices running older android. Should i just clear the data && cache of the app? I have to dig deeper with adb i think before doing so to help the devs. | 22:03:14 |

OkyDooky | In reply to @vinnyp:matrix.org Why did they remove the ability to manually download apk from AuroraStore? Now when you click copy download link it copies the link to the apps Play Store page not the actual download link I haven't been following any of thier "official" channels, so I have no idea. I didn't even realize they made that change. Maybe it has to do with something on Google's end. | 21:57:27 |

lonelycat | My android failed to install multi apk and aurora service get deprecated, so I'm asking about shizuku. Is it safe to use shizuku, should it always connected to computer just to install any apk ? | 02:43:32 |

walter.dietrich | lonelycat well i guess it is more the way you asked the question: i'm pretty sure nobody will/can guarantee you that Shizuku works perfectly no mater what, let alone from the Aurora Store guys. ...i'm not even sure if the Shizuku guys will do it. i guess if it would be considered predominantly unsafe, it would be mentioned somewhere or not included in a stable release. | 07:03:22 |
Vinny P | Why did Aurora remove the feature of manually downloading APK files yourself? | 16:54:39 |
Vinny P | I don't know which update it changed in, it was somewhat recent but not the most recent update. | 16:55:01 |
Vinny P | You used to be able to click "Manual download" then "Check" and if the version code was correct (which it always is if you're doing an update) it would start downloading the update. You could then go to "Downloads" where you can see the update being downloaded, long press, then choose "Copy link" which could then be used with something like wget or curl to download the APK file outside of Aurora Store. Now when you choose "Copy link" it just copies the link to the apps Google Play Store page. Extremely frustrating. | 16:57:43 |
Please understand | In reply to @vinnyp:matrix.org Why did Aurora remove the feature of manually downloading APK files yourself? I don't know why they removed it but you could ask the developers on the issue page https://gitlab.com/AuroraOSS/AuroraStore/-/issues | 22:10:09 |

walter.dietrich | never heard of that (except for paid ones while using an anonymous account). rednet have you checked your filter settings (they changed in the last few releases)? i assume you have also checked the spoof manager and the blocklist manager to be on the safe side? if so, more information may help to find the cause... what apps are missing? how do you compare it? play store & aurora store on the same device or on different ones? | 10:32:41 |

First of all, thank you for answering 🙏 Yes, I checked the filter settings. All of the filters are turned off. I used Play Store on an older device and I am using Aurora on my new phone. I'll check spoof manager and blocklist manager, but I think they are set up like they should be | 09:14:52 |
