s_n_s_n | I've built monado, but monado-service fails on start-up with:
ERROR [comp_window_direct_wayland_create_surface] Attempted to create wayland direct surface with no connectors I'm trying to find out more what connectors are, and what could cause this. XRT_COMPASITOR_FORCE_WAYLAND=1 (and XCB) does give me working tracking but shows it on desktop window only. | 00:43:55 |
supreme__ | what desktop environment and what headset? | 00:47:17 |
s_n_s_n | It's KDE(fedora 40), and using an Index HMD | 00:52:02 |

commenter25 | i wanna mention, i consistently get this error with compilation where in src/xrt/auxiliary/tracking/t_imu.cpp it constantly yells ‘assert’ is defined in header ‘<cassert>’; did you forget to ‘#include <cassert>’? and error: ‘assert’ was not declared in this scope then fails the compile, saying to add #include <cassert> after line 18 in the file. when i do that, it works just fine. i have to assume this is somehow specific to me, but i'm not sure why. it's not a problem for me because i can easily fix it, but it feels like something i should tell someone | 16:28:05 |
thaytan | The error isn't wrong, and an easy patch if you want to upstream that | 16:44:00 |
commenter25 | alright then! i can do that rq ^^ | 16:49:23 |
