At SMWCon we decided to try to get together as SMW community at the MediaWiki Hackathon 2024 in Tallin from May 3rd-5th: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Hackathon_2024

So please register for the hackathon soon, as long as it is possible.

Tomorrow we there will be the MWStake monthly meeting, where this will also be announced:
https://mwstake.org/mwstake/wiki/Event:193
Are there any plans what we will do together?

@krabina:matrix.orgkrabinaGood question. I published a news item where we can also collect ideas. I already added some here: https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_Hackathon_2024 Feel free to add more ideas or add yourself to an existing one.16:24:53

@freephile:matrix.orgrundg Bernhard Krabina: can you take a look at this pull request: https://github.com/SemanticMediaWiki/SemanticDrilldown/pull/75 18:32:17
@krabina:matrix.orgkrabinaSorry, I personally don't have the skills to review a PR. I expect Alexander Gesinn to do so hopefully soon.20:38:20
@telegram_1791579422:t2bot.ioLewis CawteIt's one of those nice pull requests that only really requires the most basic understanding of git usage, and the permissions to merge the PR ;)21:13:13

You need to set smwgIgnoreUpgradeKeyCheck to false to avoid having to run update.php. The text is indeed a bit misleading.

@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeI also have an alert within the wiki "The connexion manager for Elasticsearch has raised an exception: « type is required for Exists »."10:03:01

@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeIn fact, I can't even go to the wiki's version page anymore apparently : https://wiki.preprod.tripleperformance.fr/wiki/Sp%C3%A9cial:Version10:05:56

@kghbln:matrix.orgkghblnOuch. Looks like you should create an issue at https://github.com/SemanticMediaWiki/SemanticMediaWiki/issues/new/choose10:09:22
@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeYes I will !10:10:53
@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeAh. This is interesting now. It seems that the upgrade to SMW 4.1.3 has nothing to do with my problem. I still have it when downgrading. So I must have embarked something else in it. Grah10:31:01
@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand Gorge

Does this ring any bell to anyone ?

[f6365a9e7614ca96b92d9ffd] /wiki/Sp%C3%A9cial:Version SMW\Elastic\Exception\ClientBuilderNotFoundException: The \Elasticsearch\ClientBuilder class is missing, please see https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:ElasticStore/ClientBuilder!

@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeThe page in question is empty10:40:38
@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeOk - so from what I understand, that bug comes from the fact that composer somehow didn't grab elasticsearch. By adding elasticsearch to the composer.local.json I have another error, which is the following. I'm puzzled that I get so many issues when I didn't change my build structure...!11:51:44
@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand Gorge Elasticsearch\Common\Exceptions\Unauthorized401Exception: {"error":{"root_cause":[{"type":"security_exception","reason":"missing authentication token for REST request [/]","header":{"WWW-Authenticate":"Basic realm="security" charset="UTF-8""}}],"type":"security_exception","reason":"missing authentication token for REST request [/]","header":{"WWW-Authenticate":"Basic realm="security" charset="UTF-8""}},"status":401} 11:52:22
@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand Gorge(the connection works when I test it with curl...)11:56:16
@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeSo - final update for my issue. It does come from SMW 4.1.3 (I was misguided by the fact the version would not show up and that composer was requesting ~4.1.2 but actually grabbed 4.13)....12:25:55
@alex.mashin:matrix.orgAlexander MashinMany thanks for this:15:08:01

@bertrandgorge:matrix.orgBertrand GorgeHello, for those using smw with elastic search, know that the 4.1.3 requires an upgrade of elastic search and a change of configuration...!17:26:26
