The whole point of this exercise that these folks are pulling is to disrupt and ruin people's opinion of matrix

My partner feels it's too complicated and wants to leave back to a centralized platform... so might not be whatever that was that pushes people away, literally might be the learning curve.

SimpleX takes the cake in this regard... but ehhh there's alot I don't like about, matrix is more stable.

Heck it's more stable then Discord if you use a custom home server.
