wojtek0806 | Does anyone know if there is a way to obtain task name from module at runtime?
I mean get it inside module not at playbook level
for example if i run the same module in 2 different plays i want to log the names of such plays, i have a small logging system that logs module level debug data to a single file and i want to split the entries based on plays that generated them, for now i use datetime as my delimiter but that is not ideal | 11:02:24 |

wojtek0806 | can anyone tell me when the httpapi plugins are initialized, at what point do i get access to the 'options' what i mean is for example i have a debug_mode option defined in the docs which has a default value of False, i have made a plugin instance method to retrieve the value for me like this: def debug(self): return self.get_option('debug_mode')
I have my playbook where i set the debug_mode to True and when i try to grab this debug_mode value at init, it will always return the default i.e False, hence my question is at what point my playbook values become 'visible' in the plugin initialization, for reference here is my plugin init function:
def __init__(self, connection):
super(HttpApi, self).__init__(connection)
self.connection = connection
self.access_token = None
self.refresh_token = None
self.has_logging = True if self.debug() else False
self.log = logger if self.debug() is True else None
self.log.set_log_level(LOG_LEVELS[self.debug_level()]) if self.log else None

eric_hoog | Hey all, I'm just getting into using Molecule to test my roles and its been great but I just had a fairly basic question.
I noticed on the Molecule docs site it mentions there's a creator-ee image that has Molecule already installed.
I was curious if that image is meant to be entered into to run Molecule from or is it just a base image to create other ee images for running ansible-navigator etc?? | 02:39:01 |
eric_hoog | Maybe I should have posted this in the #users:ansible.com instead. | 02:42:13 |

eric_hoog | Think I somewhat answered my own question as I missed the part in the docs that says ansible-navigator is among the main consumers of creator-ee.
What I still don't understand is how Molecule is used in that context from ansible-nagivator inside the creator-ee container | 11:35:19 |
