blubbedy | Hi, thanks for the great work on ethermint. We are very interested in testing some applications on it.
For this reason I was wondering if you have any details on your expected timeline for functionality around events, i.e. eth_getLogs, eth_newFilter etc.? | 09:34:50 |

abridgeacrack | for anyone interested, I'm available for hire on anything related to Go development, Ops and analyics: adding extra ETH compatibility to code, implementing extra features and doing massive scale testing, doing business-oriented simulations of testnets etc. In my previous project I was having a port of my golang-based mass deployment/testing tool successfully doing hundreds of nodes and compatibility tests, had Metamask integration, and implemented different denoms/tokens. Unfortunately my client and manager decided to make an ugly travesty out of it, claiming that another developer "came and made everything in a day" (which was not the case), followed by not paying for 3 months of work, so I'd rather not get that knowledge wasted.
In the meantime, I'll probably be working on a QML wallet (targeting low-footprint desktop clients and Android primarily) for Cosmos and rewriting my testing/instrumentation scaffolding. | 03:06:37 |
abridgeacrack | could also be interested in working on Rust components, although I'm complete n00b with that (compared to 15 years ops/C and 5 years golang/4 years crypto experience) | 03:09:15 |
abridgeacrack | In reply to @blubbedy:matrix.org Hi, thanks for the great work on ethermint. We are very interested in testing some applications on it.
For this reason I was wondering if you have any details on your expected timeline for functionality around events, i.e. eth_getLogs, eth_newFilter etc.? I can implement and validate that, have a good knowledge of current code base and looking forward to experiment also with ETH's native POS | 03:10:38 |
abridgeacrack | can also help with getting that done in upstream, in exchange for hints/pointers on what is desired | 03:11:25 |
