Maybe it's just placebo, but a passive 429 health check along with load balancing has drastically reduced 429 errors for my site I don't think it's placebo, it's been the most stable instance I've used for a few weeks. Other instances should try this approach as well, though I think most admins have just given up on teddit/libreddit. Shame. | 17:52:56 |

Guess opnxng has several servers/IPs. All I know is, from a user experience point of view, their instance gets 429 way less often than others.
I said given up on it because many instance owners have shut down theirs and plenty others just seem stuck in 429, very sporadically working. That's all. | 22:36:23 |
