i lost all my passwords last week (written in txt files) with about 890gb of files in a accidental 'quick format' in windows 10, most accounts are recovered recently, except my matrix account.... Has a wat yo i recover my password from spectral? I have only this logged on account.
FYI you can recover almost all files after a quick format

@tmpod:matrix.orgtmpod Carl Schwan can answer this better, he maintains NeoChat, a fork of Spectral 18:51:12

Don't know the details, but I assume Spectral/Quotient (the lib behind) only stores a session token and not the password
can i use this?

18:56:25
@tmpod:matrix.orgtmpodno, if it was in qtkeychain it was probably wiped with the format too? if not, there is probably a way to get it, though I don't know how, never worked with that API18:58:09
@tmpod:matrix.orgtmpodagain, Carl will have better input on this18:58:54

i using the appimage of spectral in my /home directory on Debian. the partition lost was another one. Debian is in partition X, /home in partition Y, windows in partition Z, the partiton lost is W. I separate everything for security.
