I get your point, but what about making a compromise at first and gradually transitioning to a state without compromises...gradually decentralising the whole thing layer by layer...uncompromising it... I agree. That is the approach we should take. The challenge though is to fight against the convenience of a running but not fully decentralized product. At some point you may ask „why should I change this now“.

Why waste your time until Ethereum can scale? Right now it's just people building things that aren't adoptable because of ETH limitations. Wake me when the base layer is good enough.
