DRAV-Corp | That changes nothing. | 22:41:44 |
providermultitudeconnectorfactor | for the profile it does. | 22:42:41 |
providermultitudeconnectorfactor | but I presume there isnt a way then besides airplane mode and no sim. | 22:42:58 |
GrapheneOS Bridge | <Ryu945:libera> If this incident has shown anything, it is that you can't make assumption about what people want to disable. I hope the hiding of menu is removed in future warnings. You can even use a pop up error warning if you must but functionality shouldn't be removed. | 22:43:44 |

GrapheneOS Bridge | <Ryu945:libera> Is there a way to add the grapheneOS keyboard to the phone in a second language? | 22:44:49 |
Kris Rice | Hi I'm having issues enabling eSIM on pixel 4a (G025N). Just sits spinning saying "checking network info". Also when I reboot, privileged eSIM management toggle is disabled. Can anyone confirm support with Graphene and this phone? | 22:46:18 |
GrapheneOS Bridge | <Ryu945:libera> I am looking at the keyboard section in the phone and I see no way to add a keyboard. I looked in fdroid but I don't see grapheneOS keyboards. | 22:49:08 |

treequell | You can enable different languages there | 22:52:58 |

Kris Rice | In reply to @treequell:matrix.org Do you have Google Play Services installed? Yes I also allowed system modifications in play store, services and framework | 22:54:39 |
Kris Rice | Rebooted, same issue | 22:54:48 |
GrapheneOS Bridge | <Ryu945:libera> Thankyou. I found the language area but I noticed one major language is missing. Japanese. | 22:55:07 |
GrapheneOS Bridge | <Ryu945:libera> I also don't see anthy either | 22:55:40 |
treequell | In reply to @grapheneosbridge:grapheneos.org <Ryu945:libera> Thankyou. I found the language area but I noticed one major language is missing. Japanese. Yes, many languages are missing. GrapheneOS Keyboard is based on AOSP Keyboard, which is unmaintained by Google. They only update it when something breaks.
You'll need to install a third party keyboard for more language support. | 22:56:19 |

John Doe | Hey all! Quick question about GOS, what protections against cellular does it offer? I have an "anonymous" phone and I was going to use my existing sim, but was unsure how this would affect anything? Will it be able to associate this new pixel with anything? | 23:00:54 |
DRAV-Corp | Google service apps shouldnt need the ability to modify system settings. | 23:01:07 |
Kris Rice | In reply to @drav-corp:matrix.org Google service apps shouldnt need the ability to modify system settings. I'm aware, was hoping it might fix my issue | 23:01:55 |

John Doe | Basically, enable airplane mode when not needed such as WiFi | 23:05:02 |
DRAV-Corp | "Note that if the eSIM installation process does not progress past the "Checking network info..." stage despite having a stable Internet connection, you may need to call the USSD code star pound star pound INFO pound star pound star and then enable DSDS in the menu that is presented." | 23:05:21 |
Kris Rice | Thank you will try 👍 | 23:06:31 |
