I have been a dormant participant here for some time, but lately, I have had this idea I think is relevant to this group.
In a podcast interview with Femi Longe, who is advancing Bitcoin in Nigeria, he mentioned the need for people in developed countries to stop donating charity to Africa and start actively investing in building Bitcoin businesses by the people (at least that's what I heard).
This gave me the idea of Bitcoin Crowd Fund as something that enables this. The essence of it is:
"A platform for people to invest in entrepreneurs aiming to solve real-world needs using Bitcoin"
I think Fedimint is a perfect match for such a semi-distributed Bitcoin Fund as software to run on.
