Kevin P. Fleming | In reply to @sehertaak:matrix.orgIf you use formatting which isn't commonly supported, it will end up being harder to read on other instances. | 10:52:53 |

Tak! | In reply to @kevin:km6g.usif you use server software that supports formatting, the server will send the formatted text to other instances, which will display it correctly if you use client software that supports formatting (e.g. elk), then it will be less legible for people on other instances | 06:32:41 |

mcc111 | Bug report from a user: "Hm I can't see my own posts sometimes in tusky… [it happens] under my profile and in notifications I see replies to it but they look disassociated" Does this match with any other reports? | 03:09:30 |
Hesh. #p3pch4t:matrix.org #i2pchat:matrix.org | Can we add i2p network support in Tusky? Or any other mastodon app? The easiest thing is to add feature send traffic to 127.0.0.1 on phone on specific port if phone has i2pd app run already. | 03:45:41 |
Hesh. #p3pch4t:matrix.org #i2pchat:matrix.org | It will allow to use mastodon on i2p network which can make it censorship resistant because mastodon server would have own domain address which belongs only to owner, forever. And location of a server will be hidden too. | 03:46:57 |

mcc111 | So, I know I should have done this a month ago, I am trying the new "Material 3" in develop branch Minor issue, I think the "selected tab" blue bar in the top bar is way too low and I hate the "slime" animation, if I could get the old wide bars that animate normally back I would do it The bigger problem… the left side bar | 09:27:46 |
mcc111 | A second "general" problem— this is what I was hoping to do something about when I installed Tusky— Has anyone else noticed a thing where if you attach 4 images to Tusky, they will be added in essentially random order? It happens every time. I don't know if this is everyone, Android 13, or somehow Sony specific. Some apps on my phone (Tusky, Bluesky) have this problem, but others (Discord) do not. It's making it VERY VERY hard to post groups of images from my phone. I will probably file a bug but I'm curious if as a pass 0 if anyone besides me can repro it. | 09:41:07 |
connyduck | In reply to @mcc111:matrix.orgcan repro | 17:53:33 |
connyduck | I guess we should try to apply some sort of ordering before uploading. And allow reordering. | 17:55:24 |
mcc111 | Reordering would be great because sometimes, even without a bug, I attach things in a wrong order by accident. My intent was to add move left and move right menu items. But I ran into some tooling issues which ate all my time. Maybe I will try again on the train today. | 22:51:55 |
mcc111 | And I will file. | 22:52:07 |

eliot_l | I just noticed a change in Tusky behavior (for the worse IMO, this may be a regression.) In an older dev build I was using, if you are in a thread detail view and open an external URL in chrome and then hit the back button, it takes you from chrome back to the detail view which is the expected behavior of an android app IMO. In the latest release from Google play, if you hit the back button from chrome, it takes you to the desktop and if you open tusky again you're back on the timeline which means the post you were viewing is more likely to get lost. Was this an intentional change or should I file a bug? | 18:42:18 |

Tak! | ok, I just had a deadlock or crash that I'm not sure is reproducible enough for an issue, but it has also left me with a loading placeholder that's eternally in the "in progress" state | 16:27:32 |
