Hey ya'll! I found my way to this channel awhile ago via this post: https://matrix.org/blog/2017/04/04/opening-up-cyberspace-with-matrix-and-webvr

Given that Mozilla (who i sometimes do stuff with) is moving from irc to matrix, I thought I'd give this channel a bump and see if anyone is still paying attention.

So, Mozilla is doing Matrix stuff. Mozilla is also doing VR stuff. One of the things they're working on is a product called hubs (https://hubs.mozilla.com/) which enables the easy creation of social vr spaces.

I just found out they built a bot for integrating Hubs with Discord (https://hubs.mozilla.com/docs/hubs-discord-bot.html) which brought me back here because it seems like there could be potential for Matrix and Mozilla to do some interesting vr things together that weren't possible even a few months ago.

This being open source is a huge boon to our work on verse.im
