Onno | * I've had that frame for like 5 years now, but never really bothered to finish it. Made a ton of designs for it though. I think I have like 5 designs for it, mostly focussing on differnt printheads, including 2 designs for chimera's with a self-designed extruder setup, one for a BMG-X2, one for LGX IDEX and now I'm just making a bog standard Bondtech i3 based design. | 23:04:16 |
Onno | Might put the BMG-X2 on a similar frame as the new tool changer I'm designing. Not sure yet. | 23:05:02 |
Onno | BTW, I've found out that printing in resin really, really benefits from printing thin if you want to prevent warping. I get a lot more accurate parts at 0,025 mm layer height than from 0,1 mm layer height. | 23:10:53 |
Onno | * Unfortunately the XZ-axis blocks of the build as shown in the picture were ~2 mm too close to the face of the arch, so I had to redesign the blocks to have clearance for the screws. But now that this is done, I can do the electronics. | 23:11:04 |
NZKshatriya (B) | well yeah | 23:48:39 |
NZKshatriya (B) | I only print in .025 | 23:48:51 |

Onno | Question about klipper and filament runout detection: I have a Bondtech i3 extruder with a custom filament sensor mounted on top, but I wonder if klipperizing the prinnter will work for my setup. How much filament will pass between the sensor detecting filament runout and klipper halting the print when printing at 80-100mm/s with 1.75mm filament (~15mm³/s volume)? Is 20mm of filament enough runway to reliably stop the print before it is too late? | 00:22:11 |

TheArduinoGuy | My 3D printer has died. I got a thermal runaway error mid print and now it is saying that the thermistor is not connected. | 15:02:02 |
TheArduinoGuy | I shall have to check the cables and also the resistance of the thermistor to see if it has died or not. | 15:02:35 |

Onno | ouch. I hope your board is okay | 09:14:33 |
TheArduinoGuy | In reply to @0nn0:matrix.orgI'll let you know at the weekend after i've stripped it down a bit | 12:17:13 |
TheArduinoGuy | Hopefully it will be a cheap and easy fix | 12:17:33 |

Onno | Does anyone here have experience with connecting a RPi Zero 2W to a Prusa MK3S? I tried, but the board does not seem to be reacting at all. The firmware boots as if there is no board attached, even though I have the setting for the RPi port set to "on". | 11:54:09 |

TheArduinoGuy | Thermistor issue fixed. Printer back up and running. | 12:54:44 |
Onno | Any idea on how I can test if the serial connection on the einsy is still good? | 13:44:49 |
