Hello, i'm trying to help with some french translations and I'm looking for information. Sorry to ask that, but I don't find any answers in the doc:

  • how translations are organized?
  • Is there a translation workflow and a documentation about it?
  • Weblate projects are configured with dedicated reviewers, who are the french reviewers?
    Thx

I'm not sure what to say about how they're organized?

Here's what I can say:

As far as I know there are no dedicated reviewers on Weblate for CalyxOS. Other projects may have them but not the CalyxOS components at least not from what I've seen.

CalyxOS translations are spread over a few places:

Dedicated CalyxOS features: https://hosted.weblate.org/project/calyxos

@lucas:yatrix.org@lucas:yatrix.orgThere is also F-Droid and Aurora Store. F-Droid: https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/f-droid06:31:47
@lucas:yatrix.org@lucas:yatrix.org * There is also F-Droid and Aurora Store. F-Droid: https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/f-droid (translating the app component is enough) Aurora Store: https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/aurorastore06:32:16

@lucas:yatrix.org@lucas:yatrix.orgAnd of course also the apps recommended/bundled by Calyx06:32:49
@lucas:yatrix.org@lucas:yatrix.orgI went pretty far I think when it comes to what components are translated, even just doing the CalyxOS components from Weblate should be enough and make a big difference.06:33:55
@lucas:yatrix.org@lucas:yatrix.orgDepending on the language, you might not need to mess with Lineage, might was pretty unmaintained so I had to.06:34:33
@lucas:yatrix.org@lucas:yatrix.orgThe only thing I haven't been able to find how to translate is the Battery Stats menu under 'Other options', which from the package name seems like an integrated Android thing so I'm not sure if I can do anything.06:35:53

Hello, thx for the answer. Just to be sure that I understand correctly, if there are no dedicated reviewers, I don't need to add some reviews or suggestions. Then, I can make direct translations and validate waiting reviews. Am I right?

@ikya91:matrix.orgikya91OK, thx. I'll clean waiting reviews up right after every strings will be translated. For the other projects, I'll do my best.05:29:56

We don't have reviewers in general for translations atm.
