hassan | Hi @room , Artur Lebiedziński, Adam Nawrot, Daria Pionk Pranil Singh
I got new Machine with M2 chip, when I try to clone/run the OpenLMIS service I'm getting Platform issue (Incopatibility of Platform) Example of the message I get ! 'stockmanagement-ui The requested image's platform (linux/amd64) does not match the detected host platform (linux/arm64/v8) and no specific platform was requested 0.0s'.
This means Docker image should support the arm64 architecture. Please help either to add on the base image or advice i'm stack. Thank | 12:30:57 |

In my local-setup, Users data are not showing up in the table. I’m getting Users details from API response. Currently working on rel-3.15.0 branch? | 12:41:03 |
Shubham | And I notice this issue in other tables as well. | 12:42:00 |
Shubham | In master branch is it working | 15:15:54 |

Karolina Kopacz | Hi Hassan,
I had similar issue in other projects (I have M1).
When you use docker first check if in the docker settings option Use Rosetta for x86/amd64 emulation on Apple Silicon is selected | 09:01:13 |
Karolina Kopacz | Also maybe change in the docker-compose is needed
For example to run mongo I needed to add
image: arm64v8/mongo:6.0
platform: linux/arm64/v8
to image | 09:02:27 |
Karolina Kopacz | In my case this two things always works, but I didn't run OpenLMIS service on my macbook so I don't know this specific case | 09:04:21 |
hassan | Thank you Karolina Kopacz, as a temporary solution I added platforms in docker-compose and it fixed the issue.. | 09:05:16 |
hassan | Thank you very much for your inputs | 09:05:48 |
Karolina Kopacz | I think this solution can be added to docker-compose permanently because everyone with M1/M2/M3 will have this issue 😉 | 09:09:18 |
hassan | For sure Karolina Kopacz, based on this documentation https://docs.docker.com/compose/compose-file/build/#platforms , that solution shuld be updated in each docker compose file or base image file. | 09:12:18 |
Artur Lebiedziński | Hello Shubham, is the issue persist? | 09:14:53 |
Pranil Singh | Hi All, this input was also received in relation to the thread from Josh: "Each docker file used to issue the build, not every file. If you do start doing multi-platform builds, you could start using ARM instances on AWS, which have 20-40% savings." | 13:49:58 |
