cristi | I think the alot bot's current form will go over people's heads. I think it would work better if it went like this: | 04:30:25 |
cristi | Notice the title of the pic | 04:31:51 |
cristi | Download alot is a creature, "a lot" means many.png | 04:32:16 |

nicfab | Hi! I see a warning (red shield) on the messages from the RSS bot in an encrypted room. TravisR can you kindly check? | 17:14:45 |

DieHollander | Im trying to set up the bot to the announcement channel | 20:45:48 |
DieHollander | But it keeps saying this "There was a problem bridging that channel - has the guild owner approved the bridge?" | 20:46:05 |
DieHollander | Even though I've gave the bot all the perms | 20:46:14 |
| DieHollander changed their display name from Kian Acquoy to DieHollander. | 20:50:26 |
| Christian Vonderstein changed their display name from Christian Vonderstein to Just here for the bullshit. | 21:39:07 |

TravisR | DieHollander: it might need explicit permissions in the channel to send messages to verify approval | 04:25:20 |
TravisR | nicfab: it should be a bit better now | 04:31:41 |
nicfab | In reply to @travis:t2l.io nicfab: it should be a bit better now Thank you very much | 04:31:59 |

cristi | if you plan to implement these, lmk please, i'm curious | 06:26:37 |
TravisR | Legally speaking the credit isn't needed, but if it were to be credited then it should be in the room and not on the site. | 06:28:00 |
TravisR | Few people read the file name, so I'd be concerned about that having material gain on the bot's function | 06:28:50 |
TravisR | In general I'd probably consider adding a caption message, but it's relatively low priority compared to the other things I need to do for t2bot.io ☹️ | 06:29:49 |

TravisR | It's not tagged as CC-*, but the FAQ for the blog requests that people don't pass it off as their own work, which would mean that as long as the bot clearly remains in reference to the blog and not trying to declare the art as its own, it's fine. Though, that's just the legal standing: improving the caption would also mean including a link to the blog. | 06:33:58 |
