I’m looking for a USB-C switcher that allows me to connect my USB-C EarPods to both my Mac Mini (for WhatsApp/Zoom calls) and my Pixel 7 Pro (for cellular calls). Here are the specifics of my setup:

Mac Mini: Running macOS Ventura, primarily used for WhatsApp and Zoom calls.
Pixel 7 Pro: Running Android 13, used for regular cellular phone calls.
USB-C EarPods: Standard USB-C EarPods with built-in microphone.

Why is this so difficult?
* Different Operating Systems: macOS and Android have different audio and input management systems.
* Audio Profiles: The audio profiles and codecs used by each device might not be compatible.
* Microphone Prioritization: The switcher would need to intelligently determine which device should have priority for microphone input.
Potential Workarounds
While not ideal, these options might provide some temporary relief:
* Manual Switching: This is the most straightforward but inconvenient method. You'd need to unplug the EarPods from one device and plug them into the other.
* Bluetooth Headphones: Consider using Bluetooth headphones that can pair with multiple devices. This provides more flexibility but might introduce latency or audio quality issues.
