 moni42077 (Emanuil Hristov) | Hello, a bit of a weird (and pretty long) question. I have been using einsteinpy and I am really inspired by it. I decided to make a mini version of it in a way (will start with just the Schwarzschild solution and maybe expand later on) for my bachelor's final project. My goal is to become more fluent in this area so I can contribute to einsteinpy. I tried just going around the source code to understand what is going on and I read the paper referenced in it - "FANTASY: User-friendly Symplectic Geodesic Integrator..."(was pretty complicated :) ) and wanted to ask if there are other resources out there to help me become more fluent (mainly practical/hands-on stuff). (recently read two lovely books - "Spacetime and Geometry" by S. Carroll and "Numerical Relativity starting from scratch" by Baumgarte and Shapiro which I think helped a lot, but weren't that practical). | 18:50:59 |
