Stephen J Smoogen | I think nirik asked for a +1 on a Freeze break on at least one thing | 20:06:36 |
nirik | oh, sorry, this is arguments, you want down the hall past contradiction for complaints. | 20:06:39 |
Stephen J Smoogen | not sure if this is the same or different | 20:06:43 |
Stephen J Smoogen | no its not | 20:06:52 |
adamw | yes i get he wants a freeze break for something, what thing? blocking some bots somewhere? | 20:07:46 |
adamw | +1, i hate bots | 20:07:48 |
nirik | https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/1971 | 20:08:01 |
adamw | yup, +1 | 20:08:22 |
Justin W. Flory (he/him) | In reply to @adamwill:fedora.im hum. the account system at https://cfp.fedoraproject.org is rather unclear We couldn't get FAS login supported this year, but hopefully next year. | 20:14:36 |
adamw | so...what is it? | 20:28:13 |
adamw | it says it's powered by pretalx, but it's not the same account as pretalx.com , apparently. | 20:28:27 |
Justin W. Flory (he/him) | In reply to @adamwill:fedora.im so...what is it? It is a self-hosted Pretalx server. Red Hat Open Source Program Office is providing the hosting. | 21:02:59 |
Justin W. Flory (he/him) | In reply to @nirik:matrix.scrye.com can anyone who was seeing problems please retry and let me know if you still do? I can follow back up next week, re: authentication issues. I was not having the issue but someone I was working was, but they are already signed off for the weekend. | 21:03:55 |
adamw | ah, i see. | 21:05:16 |
nirik | everything should be back to normal as far as I can tell/know | 21:07:39 |

Siteshwar Vashisht | Can anyone tell me number of SRPMs present in Fedora 41? Is there some script available to list and count them? | 15:31:06 |
aleasto | In reply to @svashisht:fedora.im Can anyone tell me number of SRPMs present in Fedora 41? Is there some script available to list and count them? rpmdistro-repoquery fedora 41 --qf=%{SOURCERPM} --latest-limit=1 | wc -l
23870 | 15:34:27 |
Siteshwar Vashisht | koji latest-build --all f41 gives me 23942 . | 15:43:51 |

aleasto | rpmdistro-repoquery fedora 41 --disablerepo=\* --enablerepo=fedora-source --latest-limit=1 | wc -l
23897 😅 | 16:21:53 |
Siteshwar Vashisht | nirik: darknao So, what is the authentic number? | 19:18:35 |
nirik | depends on what you are looking for. koji has a bunch of 'packages' that aren't really packages... because of the way it works all the iso images and containers and such are 'packages' even though they aren't rpm packages. If you want just rpm packages the source query is likely the one you want (the second one querying the source repo). The first one is only whatever arch it was queried on (some packages are only available on some arches, so it would miss those that aren't on the arch its run on). | 19:27:13 |

@sergiomb:matrix.org | for example https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-bdf3419791 | 02:49:44 |
@sergiomb:matrix.org | https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2273675 wasn't modified yet | 02:50:09 |
Fabio Valentini | I have noticed this too. bodhi stopped commenting on / closing bugs some time yesterday | 08:00:32 |
nirik | it seems bodhi's bugzilla api key was banned. :) Perhaps it was all the updates friday when we did the f40 stable push? | 15:03:23 |
nirik | I'm pushing out a new key now. | 15:04:41 |
nirik | I expect it's not going to go back and do any of the old ones. ;( | 15:07:39 |
