sean | This is a hard to find docs page, but it has a link to the public mms instance for people who want to play around https://github.com/Open-MBEE/open-mbee.github.io/wiki/OpenMBEE-public-server-information | 03:27:16 |

sean | Update: I got OpenMBEE's mms v4.0 (https://github.com/Open-MBEE/mms4) up and running on a local server and managed to create an organization and project. Going to see if I can run it with the view editor (https://github.com/Open-MBEE/ve) next, so that people can have a pretty UI to work out of, rather than having to open a Python REPL making HTTP requests... | 04:56:47 |
udit.kumar.sahoo | sean: awesome sean.. I was looking for a sandbox to play with the operational concepts. I will definitely be using the solution | 06:03:30 |

sean | Hey folks! If Riot is working again, hope you've been enjoying all this awesome space news as I have! I don't think I'll be able too attend tonight's meeting, as my local linux user group is in the process of trying to secure a new venue for their monthly meetups and they sort of need my attendance. Brief update: ran into a minor caveat w/ setting up OpenMBEE on my local network... The current model management system (mms) v4.0 hasn't completely released their system modeler UI / view editor yet. Though, talking w/ the lockheed developers, it should be out shortly. Considering mms v3.0 is built on top of a really ugly stack cough java cough that I'd really prefer not having to setup, I'm willing to give it a wait. Otherwise, the backend database, and mms v4 server, minus frontend client (i.e., UI / view editor), should be good to go. In the mean time, I'll see if I can build a simple model, using just RESTful API calls (i.e., via command line). Not sure how far I'll get, but will post updates as I go. | 00:58:36 |
Carlos Gonzalez-Rivera | Cool deal. Java no good for defense against the "Dark Arts" | 02:27:07 |
Carlos Gonzalez-Rivera | I have to pick up the baby in a few. Won't be able to sign in until 1730 HST | 02:28:16 |
outbound | I am also tied up this evening. Sorry I've been AWOL, got a new job in Denver, looooong hours right now, and traveling back and forth to Houston. A mess. I should be more accessible after tomorrow. | 03:40:17 |
suzi.bianco | Sorry all, I fell asleep on the couch last night and didn't even see this. | 18:04:43 |
suzi.bianco | Seeing as we are in a sort of hiatus agenda wise, should we postpone Thursday meetings for a while? We can talk about anything on the Mondays meetings, since the participants are pretty much the same, and we have been sort of lacking subject for that one too | 18:06:57 |

An alternative idea Carlos and I briefly considered was turning the Systems meeting into more of a systems work session, where we have a scheduled synchronous time to pop in and work stuff, rather than having a formal minutes/agenda based meeting, and use the Monday meeting for general updates. | 18:17:32 |
sean | Also, I think Space Decentral should highjy consider participating in Season of Docs, as it may help us get quality feedback on documentation

Cool, that's a good idea! | 00:38:14 |
suzi.bianco | About your second suggestion, I think it would be great if some of our team participated! | 00:41:07 |
