10:32:15@cadence:cadence.moecadence(not proxying streams, but it shouldn't matter since both requests are from the same selfhost server)
12:38:08@tleydxdy:tlebear.wintleydxdyyou need to have the right cookies
12:38:26@tleydxdy:tlebear.wintleydxdythere's probably more to that too

Hmm. I wonder if there is a way to curl in such a way that presents the resource with a particular cookie similar to how wget allows you to spoof a user agent string.
21:18:10@dopefish:arcrealityinc.comDopefishI'll have to look it up and see.
21:21:31@perflyst:snopyta.orgperflystthere is, yes

01:15:55@cadence:cadence.moecadenceI know how to curl with cookies, but what cookies should I use?
02:29:43@omarroth:matrix.orgomarrothYou shouldn't need cookies. Mind providing an example URL?
02:53:33@cadence:cadence.moecadencecool, one sec, see if I can still reproduce
02:54:26@cadence:cadence.moecadence I can. @omarroth https://r3---sn-a5msen7z.googlevideo.com/videoplayback?expire=1585990428&ei=vPaHXquzGtbYoAO5-4qICg&ip=2001%3A19f0%3A5801%3Ac62%3A5400%3A1ff%3Afe50%3A2b8f&id=o-ACBjxPeXBmlm5yTT8YSYd8u5EMHtx1wElyjm6swl-pdm&itag=251&source=youtube&requiressl=yes&mh=sf&mm=31%2C26&mn=sn-a5msen7z%2Csn-n4v7knls&ms=au%2Conr&mv=m&mvi=2&pl=49&initcwndbps=665000&vprv=1&mime=audio%2Fwebm&gir=yes&clen=3689619&dur=218.941&lmt=1575277270381095&mt=1585968756&fvip=3&keepalive=yes&fexp=23882513&c=WEB&txp=5531432&sparams=expire%2Cei%2Cip%2Cid%2Citag%2Csource%2Crequiressl%2Cvprv%2Cmime%2Cgir%2Cclen%2Cdur%2Clmt&lsparams=mh%2Cmm%2Cmn%2Cms%2Cmv%2Cmvi%2Cpl%2Cinitcwndbps&lsig=ALrAebAwRQIhAKka6bFIbUSr-Pg1y3Gr2yn_CloiNCesSMQo1GilnrXuAiBKEkEPZtSnOe7Z_b4wUFindRdvKQYrfQoCcTfmGHXhqg%3D%3D&host=r3---sn-a5msen7z.googlevideo.com&sig=IgSyoEB0ovLCHszdudjuVqQXBzW5CuCXdeA=u_KR7onmAEiAFdEkZZpJYS2TwYI0KwhNSeoHmAp782poLN3gLimyBlNAhIgREsLlPpJAT
02:54:42@cadence:cadence.moecadencemy server is in australia but youtube recognises it as being in the united states.
02:55:16@cadence:cadence.moecadencecurl -v on this says 403 forbidden.
02:55:30@cadence:cadence.moecadence this url was retrieved using curl localhost:3000/api/v1/videos/-Mm7LvWL2ms | jq .adaptiveFormats
02:55:51@cadence:cadence.moecadence using curl https://invidio.us/api/v1/videos/-Mm7LvWL2ms | jq .adaptiveFormats I get a playable URL on this server.
02:56:13@cadence:cadence.moecadence I don't think I'm behind on commits?
02:58:02@cadence:cadence.moecadencehuh... setting force_resolve: ipv4 works.
02:58:19@cadence:cadence.moecadencebut my ipv6 can't be blocked, otherwise the first curl would have failed with status code 500, right?
03:00:21@cadence:cadence.moecadenceor maybe it was because I recompiled. I do need to compile to apply changes to config.yml, right?
03:13:01@omarroth:matrix.orgomarrothYou don't need to recompile after changing config.yml
03:13:22@omarroth:matrix.orgomarroth I know someone else encountered a similar issue recently, the &sig= is invalid
03:13:29@omarroth:matrix.orgomarroth What does ./invidious -v look like?

What does ./invidious -v look like?
apparently I was out of date, but I just updated, so I can't give invidious -v. the previous commit hash before I pulled to update was 06ac5fa on api-only
07:15:05@cadence:cadence.moecadenceI cannot reproduce the issue by switching back to ipv6 with the new api-only. I assume some commit in there changed this behaviour. I'll let you know if it happens again and I'll check if I'm up to date in future.
