How can I configure synapse/element to only allow admins (or a white list of selected users) allowed to join rooms on other matrix servers? By default, I would like to disable 'interacting outside my homeserver' , but allow it for some class of users. FYI, i got it to work, but not using a single matrix server. I setup two servers. One with open federation, and other other with a federation whitelist which only consisted of the other server. That effectively segments my users so that one group of them can only interact inside the network of my 2 servers | 23:32:49 |
