poikilotherm | Should we talk about containers? Or is this too much a niche? | 12:03:39 |
Philip Durbin | We absolutely could give a container update. | 12:03:56 |
Philip Durbin | Or we could talk about 6.0 | 12:04:13 |
poikilotherm | Maybe both at the same time? π | 12:07:30 |
poikilotherm | Use containers to fire up Dataverse 6.0 | 12:07:51 |
poikilotherm | * Use containers to fire up Dataverse 6.0 π€― | 12:08:07 |
Philip Durbin | Sure. Not much new to play with feature-wise, though. π€ | 12:08:51 |
Miguel Silva | In reply to @pdurbin:matrix.org Hmm, we still don't have a topic for the next community call. I could talk about chat. IRC, Slack, Matrix, and Zulip. What do you think? How about this topic for the next community call in an #agile story format: "Add the functionality to receive live, real-time, experimental data directly from a smart data acquisition device" | 18:20:34 |
Miguel Silva | And even
"Increase data trustworthiness with the increase in the number of smart Data Acquisition devices uploading experimental data to a dataverse in real-time " | 18:21:49 |
Miguel Silva | I have another
"Increase data trustworthiness by implementing a blockchain to the unique fingerprint identification on a dataset " | 18:23:23 |
Philip Durbin | Hmm, how much time would you like? | 18:23:41 |
Miguel Silva | You mean, for me to do a presentation ? | 18:24:09 |
Miguel Silva | π€ | 18:24:15 |
Philip Durbin | Yes. I thought you were offering. π | 18:24:27 |
Miguel Silva | 15min .20min ....I can do an afternoon talking about it | 18:25:00 |
Philip Durbin | Would 15 minutes be ok? The next call is on Tuesday. | 18:25:30 |
Miguel Silva | Yes. Is fine . | 18:25:42 |
Miguel Silva | Tuesday. Consider it scheduled on my part . | 18:26:01 |
Philip Durbin | Great! I'll update https://dataverse.org/community-calls and on Monday I'll send a reminder about the call to the Google Group. | 18:26:53 |
Philip Durbin | Miguel Silva: does this look ok? I added "into Dataverse":
"Miguel Silva on adding functionality to receive live, real-time, experimental data directly from a smart data acquisition device into Dataverse"
| 18:28:54 |
Miguel Silva | In reply to @pdurbin:matrix.org Great! I'll update https://dataverse.org/community-calls and on Monday I'll send a reminder about the call to the Google Group. Ok! Great. Have an awesome weekend π | 18:30:01 |

Miguel Silva | ( 10AM Boston time or 16h Brussels time) | 18:33:00 |
Philip Durbin | Yes, exactly. Thanks again! | 20:30:28 |
Philip Durbin | I'm heading out pretty soon. Have a good weekend, everyone! | 20:30:42 |

Philip Durbin | Happy Monday! I just updated the topic. Can folks please try https://dataverse.zulipchat.com instead of this channel? Feedback is very welcome in the "zulip" stream. Thanks!! β€οΈ | 10:49:53 |

Pallinger PΓ©ter | Currently, dataverse 5.13 and 5.14 is unbuildable due to the UNF jar on maven central build with java17 and class file version 61.0. I see that there is a fresh commit for UNF that should fix this issue ( https://github.com/IQSS/UNF/commit/dfa4be3c457d886b265d4e0dcac42af8fc8a6339 ), does anyone know when this will go out to maven central? poikilotherm (CEST,UTC+2) ? | 09:20:36 |
