The container ship known as the "DALI", Is owned by Grace Ocean, and operated by the Synergy Group.
At this time, It was chartered by Maesrk and was outgoing and carrying Maesrk cargo headed for Sri Lanka.
No Maesrk crew were aboard the vessel.
At the time of the ship's collision into the bridge, the Francis Scott Key bridge had already been shut down due to the distress calls from the ship.
Before the Dali crashed into the bridge, they had already put out calls to the Coast guard and the Coast guard had already alerted the MDTA authorities to shut down all lanes of the bridge.
However, we now know at this time that there were some people still on the bridge and that at least eight people went into the water.
At this time, two people are confirmed dead, found in a red pickup truck in 25 feet of water near the middle span, and six others that were part of a construction crew that were doing asphalt patch work, filling potholes are known to all be missing and presumed dead.
18 hours after the accident, search & rescue has been halted and has now switched towards a recovery mission due to the length of time involved at this point and the fridged temperatures of the water.
It has now been determined that there were 764 tons of Hazardous material held within fifty six different containers.
The hazardous material included Flammables, Corrosives and Lithium-Ion batteries.
It had become appparent that some of the containers had been breached and that there was a sheen noticed on the water.
However it has not been disclosed at this time which containers were damaged.
It has been said that the NTSB Will deliver a preliminary report within Three or four weeks and a final report Should not be expected for another twelve to twenty four months.
The voyage data recorder has been recovered and the information is transcribed into the attached image.
President biden has already called an emergency session and has called on congress to put forth a motion on the floor, for the government to pay for the entire reconstruction of the bridge ASAP.

12:39 a.m. (approximate)
The Dali departed from the Seagirt Marine Terminal in Baltimore.
1:07 a.m.
Ship entered the Fort McHenry Channel
1:24 a.m.
The ship was underway at a speed of approximately 8 knots (9.2 mph)
1:24:59 a.m.
Numerous audible alarms were recorded on the ship's bridge audio. At about the same time, VDR sensor data ceased recording; however, VDR audio data continued to record using a redundant power source.
1:26:02 a.m.
VDR resumed recording sensor data, and during this time, steering commands and rudder orders were recorded on the audio.
1:26:39 a.m.
The ship's pilot made a VHF radio call for tugs in the vicinity to assist. About this time, the pilot's association's dispatcher called the MDTA duty officer regarding a blackout on the ship.
1:27:04 a.m.
The pilot ordered the Dali to drop anchor and ordered additional steering commands.
1:27:25 a.m.
The pilot issued a VHF radio call, reporting that the Dali had lost all power and was approaching the bridge.
Around this time, MDTA data showed the following also occurred: The duty officer radioed to units stationed at each side of the bridge for the construction activity, ordering them to close traffic on the bridge. All lanes were then shut down by MDTA police officers.
1:29 a.m.
The ship's speed was recorded at just under 7 knots (8 mph). From this time to approximately 1:29:33 a.m., the VDR audio recorded sounds consistent with the collision into the bridge. Additionally, around this time, MDTA dash cameras showed the bridge's lights going out.
Additional analysis will need to be done to determine an exact time when the Dali collided with the bridge.
1:29:39 a.m.
The pilot reported the bridge down over the VHF radio to the Coast Guard.
