rinlovesyou | but yeah i need that event to fire so OpenComposite can pick up on the hands, and get poses via the hand interaction extension | 21:17:54 |
korejan | * is the layer definately being loaded and subverting monado's support of XR_EXT_hand_interaction , you can try making a build with that off, cmake configure -DXRT_FEATURE_OPENXR_INTERACTION_EXT_HAND=OFF it is on by default but no in-tree driver has (alternate) bindings for it still it may be getting in the way.
The only other thing i can think if it's not an issue with the layer is that the in-drivers don't change dynamic roles during a session | 21:26:41 |

korejan | i think the issue is profiles for in-tree drivers will never change after the initial action set session attachment so the event isn't emitted because the dynamic roles don't change for them | 21:49:49 |

rinlovesyou | oh it's also not working on steamvr | 22:02:54 |
rinlovesyou | that's just great | 22:05:59 |
rinlovesyou | okay i might be getting somewhere | 22:34:00 |
rinlovesyou | it's pretty finnicky but it's doing something | 22:34:07 |

rinlovesyou | right, well, the layer just refuses to work with opencomposite | 00:08:58 |
rinlovesyou | [2024-07-27 02:09:14,775] [283259:283329:Default] [warning] XR_APILAYER_ULTRALEAP_hand_tracking API layer only supports a single XrInstance | 00:09:56 |
rinlovesyou | Don't know what that means, monado doesn't even support multiple instances | 00:10:15 |
rinlovesyou | maybe it's referring to the dummy instance OC spins up because of the mess that is proton | 00:10:37 |
rinlovesyou | At this point i need to look into monado's built in leap support | 00:20:40 |
rinlovesyou | I see in the cmakelists stuff like Leap_SDK_found or something similar, but can't find where that's defined | 00:21:44 |
