gobbel | I've read through your post and there are some good ideas in there. First of all you should know that while OpenSuspect will be inspired by Among Us, we have all decided that it must be a really different game with a different feeling to it. One area where we want to set us apart is having lots of possibilities to customize the game. We have thought about supporting custom maps or even adding a map editor, but this is really complicated to pull off, so even if it will happen, it's not going to be there anytime soon.
We decided to not have ghosts but just kick dead players out of the game (probably as spectators), which our shared task system allows. It's not as common to see someone arguing against ghosts doing tasks, as it's also a good way to give dead players something to do.
We are still in the process of getting a map layout. Having multiple levels is definitely something to consider. | 15:37:06 |
