 cadence | It does also depend on which native code in particular you're talking about. In my experience, Visual Studio (native) and Visual Studio Code (electron) have quite similar performance characteristics, especially for the core gameplay loop of typing text, looking up function definitions, and running things in the console. Microsoft Teams is also electron and also accepts text to be typed as its primary function, but it is an objective disaster where text focus is unpredictable and every single click or function takes a second to load. | 07:33:11 |
