@an_origamian:matrix.org | Anyone here familiar with Luacontrollers? I'm curious if there is a way to easily load a controller with a file from my computer. I did this in Minecraft's ComputerCraft using a wget command they provided, but I don't think that's available for a Luacontroller. | 00:59:09 |
@an_origamian:matrix.org | Copy-paste might be my best option… | 01:07:01 |

Shadow AI6FS | an_origamian: probably copy-paste. Are you looking for code loading via HTTP in-game? There's a "NIC" controller block that can get information, but I'm not able to think of a way to dump that into a luacontroller; have a look at Lua Tool for controller copy/paste you may be able to get creative putting information into 'mem' variable of an SRAM node and then use the Lua Tool for a final step (but is not any easier than copy+paste manually) | 19:38:21 |
@an_origamian:matrix.org | Yes. ComputerCraft's wget uses http. The idea is I can push to GitHub, run some sort of update command in Lua that downloads it. | 19:47:07 |
