I think this is a better place to post instead of #screenshot, so I’ll go with it
Right now on GNOME 40 running Wayland, I’m having issues regarding the mouse pointer and it’s not autodetecting whether I want to open up setting or when I want it to disappear off the screen. An example of this is when I am in the game, it show the crosshairs, alongside with the mouse pointer. This can be resolved temporarily by hiding the mouse in another section and then full screen it, but it also lead to another issue in cases where I need the pointer to click or drag item, and this is especially a pain issue when I’m trying to adjust my settings.
I’m assuming that after searching up, it seem like I’m not alone in this issue as stated by this person -
https://gitlab.com/veloren/veloren/-/issues/233
After researching a bit, I came across this
https://github.com/rust-windowing/winit/issues/1312
And I have also found this as weall
https://gitlab.com/veloren/veloren/-/merge_requests/1088
I have no idea if any of these are similar to the issue I’m having, but after researching a bit, it seem like it’s different as to what I have, and many of these are almost months or at least 2 years old, so I don’t believe they’re relevant (only reason why I’m showing them is that I’m wondering if the devs fixed it themselves already and this is a completely different issue or they forgot it).
Is there a solution, aside from the temporary one or is there another issue regarding the game, wayland, or gnome that I missed ? |
