cd10012 | Kiba and I have had many discussions about interesting ways to integrate this into a simple interface for multiple different musings lol | 00:14:27 |
cd10012 | but these algorithms are good at solving knowledge problems and setting policy | 00:15:04 |
cd10012 | since there is this intermediary layer you interface with the algorithm since you are setting the gene preferences (human selected) | 00:16:09 |
ontologymachine | definitely - i'm not as familiar with human-based genetic algorithms specifically but one of the things that's been wild about this past year of crypto markets is how directly they've been following the pattern one could predict from a basic understanding (i.e. my level) of combinatorial optimization/evolutionary agls | 00:43:35 |

dOrgJelli | In reply to @ontologymachine:matrix.org definitely - i'm not as familiar with human-based genetic algorithms specifically but one of the things that's been wild about this past year of crypto markets is how directly they've been following the pattern one could predict from a basic understanding (i.e. my level) of combinatorial optimization/evolutionary agls After thinking about this deeply, I think that forming a community around this exact concept you've described here may be an extremely pivotal point in the history of what we know as "crypto".
It had me thinking of "giving society a mirror so it can better understand itself". I think this as a concept is really important.
It will essentially help us ensure corrections are fixed as the happen. We need to be teaching computers how to recognize things like this so we can ensure security.
I think this might be equivalent to anti-malware on your computer...

dOrgJelli | Unbiased forcasting is a key to the crypto space's success... allowing people to coarse correct before the predictable outcome (if that's even a thing...) | 04:27:46 |
dOrgJelli | Would love to hear about the methods you take to come to your hypothesis | 04:28:52 |
ontologymachine | wow i didn't think about that - a community very intentionally aware of calibrating itself for success and longevity | 05:21:54 |
ontologymachine | "futurecasting" | 05:22:20 |
dOrgJelli | Not only future casting, but analysis of the now. | 06:33:10 |
dOrgJelli | any thoughts on this communication platform for consensus forming?

cemfd | Loved kialo | 21:54:31 |
cemfd | Have yet to properly experiment with it though | 21:54:41 |
cemfd | I recommend all to read through this: https://colony.io/budgetbox.pdf | 21:55:27 |
dOrgJelli |
I recommend all to read through this: https://colony.io/budgetbox.pdf
Would you be kind enough to post your short summary? 🙏 | 22:24:36 |
cd10012 | kialo is sick I had a really productive conversation with Santi from DemocracyEarth abt both utilizing budgetbox in conjunction with the kialo work flow | 22:32:27 |
cd10012 | He’d be interested in having a call with all of us especially as it relates to BG | 22:32:56 |
cemfd | I was just using it:) | 22:35:54 |
dOrgJelli | Ahhhh that sounds like a killer combination cd10012 | 22:57:56 |

cd10012 | before i forget: https://github.com/hypergraphql/hypergraphql | 22:05:00 |
cd10012 | a nice tool would be porting this over to graph-node in rust | 22:05:23 |
cd10012 | don't think it would be too much work either since it's written in java | 22:06:13 |
dOrgJelli | very cool, also lead me to this which I need to bone more up on: https://www.w3.org/standards/semanticweb/ | 22:18:46 |
ontologymachine | yes! when gareth asked about that earlier i was like, i'm pretty sure we would "mean what we think we mean" by calling the atomized narratives or whatever semantics but need to clarify | 22:24:25 |
ontologymachine | would this be useful/similar? cd10012 https://github.com/graphprotocol | 22:25:57 |
ontologymachine | they're a friend company who are going to be working on the "mapping cooperative governance models of DAOs and IRL" project with me | 22:27:55 |
